I can't even find the firmware available for download from Toshiba and there are no manuals on specific instructions. They couldn't do it since they said they didn't have access to the firmware, so, I was on my own. I also tried calling my local dealer that services the machine and they told me the get a firmware update. Every time I try to scan to email, the copiers panel says sending email, quickly disappears, and then says error sending email on the copier panel. However, some things like printing from FileMaker or Firefox cause the printer to spit out a Postscript Error page instead of the document I tried to print.I have a toshiba e-studio 282 copier/scanner that was working fine yesterday but suddenly stopped working this morning.
Recent successes were printing a PDF and an Excel file. Print jobs are sent successfully to the printer with no errors returned to the user. Adding the printer works, added as LPD by IP address and it finds the correct driver.
I have read the threads about that and I do have their "latest" (3/09) drivers installed and the permissions set correctly. We had some problems printing to the Toshiba eStudio 2500c in our office after upgrading to Snow Leopard.
